A two car garage is just not big enough for two cars and two motorcycles.  We started looking for the perfect motorcycle storage unit that could withstand Oklahoma weather.  

If you have a workbench,  tool chest, storage shelves, lawnmower and two cars,  there is no room left for two motorcycles.  We faced this dilemma after purchasing two Honda Shadow 750s in 2011.  One of the cars or both motorcycles would have to sit outside.  The motorcycles got half the garage during summer months, but with the Oklahoma winter approaching, we wanted to get the second car back in the garage.

Cedar Built’s “Lean To” building was the perfect solution for us!  With a 5 ft restriction from the property line,   we settled on a 5 foot wide by 22 ft long, motorcycle storage shed adjacent to the garage wall.  There is a 4 ft double door opening  on both ends, which was ample for the motorcycle width with two saddle bags.  We also opted for a single west side door.  The motorcycles  are parked in single file with a three feet isle between them.  We can drive through the shed or back out.
